The mission of Concord Baptist Church School Ministry is to

·    Outreach to the greater Boston communities and Concord family members;

·    Provide Biblical knowledge in an organizational and educational structure within a loving, caring and safe environment;

·    Provide age appropriate learning tools in a Christian atmosphere; and

·    Enhance one’s spiritual growth and development through the teachings of the Holy Bible and the Holy Spirit.

Preschool Class

Age: under six

Format: Scripture, lesson review, songs, arts and craft projects

At the end of three years, a five year older should be able to:

Name the sacraments

Name the first and last book of the Bible

Name the four Gospels

Name the Testaments

Offer intercessory prayer

Recite mealtime grace

Recite bedtime prayer

Recite morning  prayer

Name the Books of Law

Recite John 3:16

Recite the Lord’s Prayer

Name his or her Pastor

State the number of books in the Bible

 

 

 

 

Primary Class

Age: 6 – 8 years old

Format: Scripture, lesson review, arts and craft projects

 

A 6- 9 year old at the conclusion of Primary Class, having attended three years or more, should be able to master Preschool curriculum and to be able to:

Name the Books of Poetry

Name the first and last books in the Old and New Testament

Name the divisions of the New Testament

Name the divisions of the Old Testament

Name the five major prophetic books

Name the four major prophets

Name the books of the New Testament

State how many books Paul wrote

Tell the story of creation

Recite the Golden Rule

Recite the 23rd Psalm

Recite the Lord’s Prayer

Name the three parts of the Trinity

Name Christian Holy Days

Use a Hymnbook

Look up scripture

Name the four parts of prayer

Compose prayer

Demonstrate how to follow the bulletin

Junior Class

Age: 9 -11 years old

Format: Scripture, lesson review, discussion, journal writing

A  9 - 11 year old at the conclusion of the Junior Class, attending three years or more should be able to master the Primary Class curriculum and:

Name the Books of the Old Testament

Name thirteen Books Paul wrote

Name the captivity/prison letters Paul wrote

Name the three pastoral books Paul wrote

Name the seven general letters of the New Testament

Name the History Books of the Old (12) and New Testament (1)

Name the Books of the New Testament with their authors

Name two general letters written by Jesus’ brothers

Name the Books of prophecy in the Old and New Testament

Associate major Biblical characters with event

 

Teens Class

Age: 15 -18 years old

Format: Scripture, lesson review, discussion, journal writing

A 15 - 18 year old at the conclusion of the Young Teens Class, attending three years or more should be able to master the Young Teen Class curriculum and:

Demonstrate how to use Bible concordance

Demonstrate how to use Bible Atlas

Demonstrate how to use a Bible Handbook

Demonstrate how to use a Topical Bible

Demonstrate how to use a Theology Dictionary

Research any Biblical topic or character
